COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
- use the major concepts and results of particle methods
- plan and write computer code
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Modern particle-based methods are widely used to model biological, physical and social systems. Selected topics in particle-based modeling and simulation methods will be covered in the course.
LEARNING METHODS
The course will use lectures, homework and reading assignments.
EXAMINATION INFORMATION
The course will be evaluated through homework, midterm and final exams.
