COURSE OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, the student will be able to: - use the major concepts and results of particle methods - plan and write computer code

 

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Modern particle-based methods are widely used to model biological, physical and social systems. Selected topics in particle-based modeling and simulation methods will be covered in the course. The course will be offered online as well to also allow double-degree Master students to enroll.

 

LEARNING METHODS

The course will use lectures, homework and reading assignments.

The course will be evaluated through homework and projects.
