Description

Conceived as a reading and discussion class this course intends to give an overview of the most seminal methodological developments from the eighteenth century until our own days. It is aimed to provide students of art and architecture with a theoretical and methodological framework that will allow them to approach their respective subjects more systematically. A number of representative (short) texts will be provided, read, contextualised, analysed and discussed during the class.
