Description
The course will provide the students with knowledge from several courses that are provided to the students. theoretical aspects of entrepreneurship and basic knowledge on how to found and run a business will dominate the first part of this course while practical aspects will be (more) prevalent in the second part. Also in the first part, students will be involved and asked certain tasks.
Objectives
This course aims at a better understanding of what entrepreneurs must consider when they found a business. How can business opportunities be discovered? Which kind of cognitive abilities and which kind of mindset is helpful for being an entrepreneur? How can a business founder find the right people to work with? How can it be profitable? These and other questions will be dealt with in this course.

Learning methods
We will consider these topics theoretically and with practical exercises and case studies. Moreover, students are expected to get active themselves and prepare in group work a concept for their own (virtual) business. Of course, this task will be prepared in preceding sessions. It is also planned to have a panel discussion with entrepreneurs in which their own experiences with the topics of this course.
