Anna Messina

Anna Messina is a psychologist and a PhD candidate at the Institute of Public Health at the Università della Svizzera italiana. She received her master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Università Cattolica in Milan (Italy), and she is currently studying to become a cognitive-behavioral therapist at the Centro di Terapia Cognitiva in Como, Italy. She is working on her PhD project, which focuses on the cultural adaptation of a WHO training intervention for caregivers of people with dementia in Southern Switzerland. Her research interests center around exploring and understanding caregivers' experiences in order to provide tailored and appropriate support at the community level.
