Biography
Professor of International Economics and the Economics of Emerging Markets at the Catholic University of Milano. He previously taught at the Catholic University of Piacenza, Bergamo University and Milano-Bicocca University; Visiting Professor at Universidad Catolica Argentina de Buenos Aires, Chulalongkorn University at Bangkok, Vietnamese Science Academy at Hanoi and Saint Joseph University at Beirut. Member of the Scientific Board of Associazione per lo Sviluppo degli Studi di Banca e Borsa, of Osservatorio Giordano dell’Amore funded by Centro Nazionale di Prevenzione e Difesa Sociale and of Country Risk Forum by ABI. His research interests are focused on the process of economic and monetary integration in Europe and on the role of emerging markets in the current process of globalization. He got a degree in Economics at Catholic University of Milan, an M.A. in International and Development Economics at Yale University and a Ph.D. in Economics at Milan.
