Monica Mendini is Lecturer of the master course Orthodox and Critical Perspectives in Marketing at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI). She also works as Lecturer-researcher at the University of Applied sciences and arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI).
Previously, she worked at the Institute of Marketing and Communication Management at USI. Moreover, she gained experience also in the marketing and communication departments of prestigious companies (Miele, CNH Industrial, SRI Management Consulting).
She obtained a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences with a focus on Marketing from USI financed by the Swiss national foundation, spending also a period of visiting abroad at San Diego State University, in California.
She conducts research in the branding, cause-marketing and consumer well-being fields.
