Abstract
The shared vision of the partnership is porfessional innovation in teaching and learning methodologies on a procedural (i.e blendend intensive programme) and substantive level (i.e. the approach of teaching sustainability in the context of social justice, environmental and economic concerns). Thus the objective is learning from the best how to teach sustainability, based on mutual values on the two institutions. From USI's perspective, the Sustainability Institute (SI) is recognized as the leading expert sustainability in Africa. From SI's perspective, for the first time, a CH institution and the SI develop: (a) blended, context-based Master's elective on Food System Transition, (b) an accompanying train-the-trainer module for 2 USI faculty members.
