Description
This course is targeted towards PhD students with
a background in Computational Mathematics and
addresses novel developments in the field.
In this first edition, we will dive into the topic
of numerical homogenization and localized orthogonal
decompositions.
Objectives
The objective of this course is
to broaden the knowlege of PhD students
in the state of the art in Computational Mathematics
and to improve individual presentation skills.

Learning methods
The course is intended as a reading class.
Each participant will design and present one
or more lectures (90 minutes), depending on
the number of participants. We will present
the book indicated in the bibliography.
Examination information
The course is graded pass/fail based on the indiviual performance
in class.
