Description

We will use Pyret as a programming language, starting with a small subset of it, and then increasing that subset as we add more and more complex programming features. During the course we will evolve the knowledge that was built in Pyret onto Python. All along the way, we will apply what we have learnt to real-life problems in data science.

Objectives

This course is a first introduction to programming that will teach you computational thinking, and how to apply it to real-life data science problems.
