Description

We focus, in particular, on the choices of economic agents (consumers and firms), the equilibrium of markets and possibly uncertainty.

Objectives

The course introduces the students to the theory of microeconomics. It extends and complements some of the material covered in the earlier Microeconomics courses in a more analytical way.

Lectures will be complemented with the study of scientific papers and exercise sessions.

Examination information

Students will be evaluated with a written exam consisting of 80% of the final grade. 20% of the final grade instead will come from in-semester work to be defined at the beginning of the course.
