Description

The Business Game consists of a business simulation in which students, organized into teams, take on specific management roles and make managerial and strategic decisions relating to a simulated company. Decisions are made in line with the company's strategy and based on an analysis of market data and the results achieved by the company and its competitors over the course of the simulation's rounds.

Objectives

  • Provide practical experience in economic and managerial decision-making;
  • Connect theoretical knowledge and practical skills through the analysis of simulated business and competitive situations;
  • Encourage collaborative ability, allowing students to develop teamwork skills, leadership and conflict-resolution abilities, and responsible decision-making;
  • Promote managerial practices oriented toward the economic, financial, and ethical sustainability of the company.

Learning methods

The Business Game is conducted in teams. Each student is required to actively and consistently contribute to the team's work, to the preparation of decisions, and to the drafting of the final report.

Examination information

15%: Company's performance in the simulated game

85%: Written report. This consists of a strategic plan for the simulated company.
