Biography

Francesca Manna is a PhD candidate in Digital Fashion Communication.

 

Her research project focuses on User Experience and Human-Computer Interaction in Digital Fashion Communication, tackling UX and HCI Challenges in Fashion, exploring key issues in fashion eCommerce, where product discovery and emotional engagement often remain limited. Her position is funded by the Lifestyle Tech Competence Center (LTCC).

 

In September 2025, she joined USI as a junior researcher and teaching assistant of the MSc in Digital Fashion Communication, a double degree by USI and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France).

 

Before joining USI and LTCC, Francesca gained professional experience in Corporate Social Responsibility at Bulgari in Rome and in Buying at Guess in Lugano. 

 

Originally from Bari, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Digital Marketing from LUM Giuseppe Degennaro, as well as a Master’s degree in Digital Fashion Communication from USI and Sorbonne University (Paris 1).
