Biography

Born in Belém (Brazil) on May 26, 1975.   He completed his doctorate in Theology in 2009 at the Faculty of Theology of Lugano (Thesis: “In Persona Christi Capitis”: Il Ministro ordinato come rappresentante di Cristo Capo della Chiesa nella discussione teologica da Pio XII ad oggi), with a final grade of Summa cum Laude.   At the end of 2015 he obtained the Habilitation in Theology at the Faculty of Theology of Lugano, with the thesis: The Holy Spirit “soul” of the Mystical Body of Christ. Historical roots and selected examples of contemporary pneumatological ecclesiology.   Since then he has been a Lecturer (Libero Docente) at the same Faculty.   From 2011 to 2013 he was Professor of Systematic Theology at the Catholic Faculty of Fortaleza (Brazil).   From 2015 to the present he has been Professor of Systematic Theology at the Catholic Faculty of Belém (Brazil).   From 2019 to 2020, he was Assessor and Expert of the Episcopal-Pastoral Commission for the Doctrine of the Faith of the Brazilian Episcopal Conference (CNBB).
