Abstract

This project aims to develop a new approach to predict the evolution of the energy market. The energy market is a key element of the energy distribution and can highly affect industrial budget. This market is highly affected by external phenomena such as weather, commodities prices and, in general, market rumors. In this project we propose a new approach for predicting the evolution of the energy market that takes advantage of self-healing and autonomous agent technologies to consider external phenomena and thus obtain accurate predictions without the need of specific human expertise. The innovative platform will be able to self-adapt to create reliable predictions by scouting automatically new source of external (and exogenous) information available on the network, including them into a model, testing the model in a restricted environment and then deciding to promote production.
