DICE - Digital Copyright for eLearning

DICE aims at providing support to teaching and non-teaching staff of Swiss higher education institutions in copyright management of digital content for eLearning.Specific goals of DICE are to increase the awareness of copyright issues related with digital content, to support the development of fundamental skills in intellectual property and copyright management, to promote the publication of open access resources.The achievement of such goals will happen through the setting up of:1. printed and digital instructional resources about copyright regulations (i.e. handbook, how-to guide, interactive case studies for self evaluation);2. an online course on intellectual property;3. a dynamic web site that serves as main reference point for people dealing with intellectual property rights in e-Learning;4. an expertise center in digital copyright that serves as contact point for getting practical guidance on e-learning-related copyright issues.
