Biografia
Evelyn Kreutzer is a media scholar and video essayist in the SNSF-funded research group "The Video Essay: Memories, Ecologies, Bodies" (2024-26), which she co-leads with Kevin B. Lee (USI) and Johannes Binotto (HSLU). Her primary focus is on developing a concept of "videographic memory studies", now with a particular focus on the impact of AI on audiovisual cultures and memories. She also serves as Associate Editor for [in]transition: Journal of Videographic Film and Moving Images Studies and as co-editor of the Videography series in Zeitschrift für Medienwissenschaft. Her written and videographic work has been published in journals like The Cine-Files, Music, Sound, and the Moving Image, NECSUS, Research in Film & History, and [in]Transition. Her monograph Televising Taste is forthcoming with Lever Press/University of Michigan Press.
