Since May 2018, he has been working for IMCA, first as a student-assistant and after completing the master's degree as a doctoral student. As regards teaching, he is actively involved in the courses “Comunicazione Aziendale” (Bachelor in Communication Sciences, 3rd year) and “Corporate Identity and Image” (Master in Corporate Communication, 1st year).
Gastone’s
research interests revolve around how Post-truth's polarization and fragmentation
of opinions influence organizational life at large. This makes his research
highly interdisciplinary, involving sociological - such as public opinion,
rumors, and social movements - and organizational topics - such as
organizational identity, corporate communication, and stakeholder theory. He
starts from social constructivism as foundational theory and mainly adopts a
critical discourse analysis approach in his work.
