Overview
This course is developed as an interdisciplinary course, which fits well to the topic of aviation systems management. As the educational opportunities in aviation are very limited, the course is highly important for both practical partners and scientific research.
Due to higher mobility, aviation has not only gained in economic importance but has also become an influential factor of the everyday life of the western world. Through versatile networking and the characteristics of the industry, aviation has developed its own field of research.
The goal of the course is twofold:
- To understand the aviation system from different perspectives: (1) Politics, (2) Economy, (3) Society, (4) Technology and (5) Environment
- To learn about the specifics of managing companies in the aviation industry
