Time

What is the nature of time? Does time pass? Is the distinction between past, present and future a mere illusion? What is spacetime? What is it for things to be in time? Are we four-dimensional entities, stretched in time as well as in space? The aim of this course is to address these questions from various standpoints, such as those of physics, metaphysics and formal ontology.

Students will be evaluated based on a final research paper.
