De l’inspiration à la boutique : les mots de la mode

  • Pas à pas: la création d’un modèle, l’étude des tendances, les collections, les défilés, les boutiques
  • Les grands créateurs : Chanel, Schiaparelli, Dior, Cardin, YSL, JPG, KL, …
  • Les pièces-phares : le Marcel, le tailleur, la robe-fourreau
  • Les gens du métier : rencontrons une couturière, entrons dans un atelier
  • Le vocabulaire des accessoires et du parfum

Obiettivi

To acquire the basics of French language with a view to the semester in Paris; to explore the language of fashion and its cultural background.

Impostazione pedagogico-didattica

Basic textbook and grammar support (see Bibliography), tailor-made and multimedia activities, active participation, group work and visits.

75% attendance of the course;

The course is held in one day with 4 teaching units per week, over the spring semester.

Modalità d’esame

  • End-of-course test, written and oral (50%); 3-4 pages paper (50%)
  • Individual assessment
  • Examination in French
  • End-of-course certificate with mention of assessment results

Please note that evaluations at USI are on scale of 1 to 10, rounded to the nearest 0.5, and that the pass mark is set at 6 inclusive and above.
