The course will focus on the basics of test development. In particular, the course aims at introducing methodological choices underlying test construction.

At the end of the course the student will be able to understand the following topics:
- Domain sampling model
- Scaling procedures and models
- Reliability
- Validity
- Principles of Item Response Theory

Impostazione pedagogico-didattica
Lectures and tutorials based on critical reading of published papers.
Modalità d’esame
Oral examination. An intermediate oral evaluation on domain sampling model, scaling procedures and models, and reliability (30% of the final evaluation).
Attendance: 80% of classroom hours
