Bachelor Project

The Bachelor Project is a capstone course in which students undertake an independent research project under the supervision of a faculty member. Following a series of introductory lectures presenting potential research topics and methodologies, students select a project in an area such as applied data science, machine learning, or statistical theory. Students conduct a literature review, formulate research questions, perform analyses or methodological investigations, and document their findings in the format of a scientific journal article of approximately 10–15 pages. The course concludes with a public poster presentation of the project results.

In presenza

• Introductory lectures by faculty members presenting research areas and project opportunities.
• Independent project work under the guidance of an academic supervisor.
• Literature study, methodological development, data analysis, and scientific writing.
• Preparation and presentation of a research poster.

Assessment is based on two components:

• Research article (10–15 pages): 50%
• Poster presentation and discussion: 50%

Both components must demonstrate the student's ability to conduct independent research and communicate scientific results effectively.
