Lucia Pennati is an architect and a PhD candidate at the Istituto di storia e teoria dell'arte e dell'architettura (ISA).
Lucia holds a MSc in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano (2012) and a MAS in History and Theory of Architecture from the gta Institute at the ETH Zurich (2019). She has practiced as an architect in different offices in Luzern, Zurich and in the region of Ticino. Her doctoral project deals with the relationship between spatial design and pedagogy by looking at the specific case of the Swiss architect and educator Dolf Schnebli (1928-2009). She researches Schnebli's idea of school, related both to his buildings and to his teaching activity.
