Marco Clementi



Marco Clementi is Associate Professor of International Relations at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Pavia.

Phd in Political Science from the University of Florence (1994), his main research interests include the theory of international relations, power and hegemony; cooperation and conflict studies.

He was member of the editorial board of the journals Italian Political Science Review (2013-2019) and Quaderni di Scienza Politica (1994-2006).

He was member of the Steering Committee of the Italian Political Science Association (2016-2109 and 1998-2004).

He has taught courses and invited lectures at (among others): Alta Scuola di Economia e Relazioni Internazionali (ASERI) – Catholic University, Milan; University of Bologna; Bocconi University, Milan; Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa; Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori, Pavia; Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale (ISPI), Milan.

He has held the position of Visiting scholar at: Institut für Politikwissenschaft, Abteilung Internationale Beziehungen/Friedens–und Konfliktforschung, Universität Tübingen (1994); Henry Jackson School of International Studies, University of Washington (2001); and Department of Politics and International Studies, Warwick University (2001).
