Abstract
The volume examines epistemic and evidential markers to shed light on the relationship between the management of knowledge and of disagreement in interaction. The contributions investigate the role of such markers in situations of disagreement, e.g. in argumentative discourse, and describe disagreement-related functions of single epistemic and evidential expressions.
