Francesco Berto

Franz is Chair of Logic and Metaphysics at the University of St Andrews (UK), Arché Research Centre, and Honorary Member of the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam (NL). He has also worked at the Institute for Advanced Study, University of Notre Dame (US), at the Sorbonne-Ecole Normale Superieure of Paris (FR), at and at the Universities of Aberdeen (UK), Venice, Padua, Milan-San Raffaele (IT). He works on logic, metaphysics and formal epistemology and has published a number of papers and books on these subjects. He co-edits four entries of theStanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy and currently serves as editor-in-chief of The Philosophical Quarterly.
