Abstract
ENID is an European Network of university researchers, producers and users of science and technology indicators; its goal is to promote the methodological reflection concerning indicators, as well as the design of new indicators to answer to research policy needs and to research in the field. It has been funded from the European Commission through the FP6 network of excellence PRIME until 2009 and has been now formlly constituted as a non-profit association under French law. The main ENID activities are the organisation of the European S¤ indicators conference series, of graduate schools and specific workshops on indicators.
