Translational Prostate Cancer Symposium: Horizons in Prostate Cancer Research

The one-day symposium will take place on the 24th of April 2024, the day before the Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC, https://www.apccc.org) starts. The organizing committee consists of Jean-Philippe Theurillat (IOR), Silke Gillessen (IOSI), Mark Rubin (BCPM), and Andrea Alimonti (IOR). The symposium will cover various aspects of preclinical and clinical prostate cancer research, including but not restricted to biomarkers, targeted and immunotherapy, predictive model systems, and emerging new therapeutic modalities with a particular focus on targeted payloads (see the final program with the confirmed speakers attached).

The one-day symposium will also foster collaborations within the increasing network of preclinical and clinical prostate cancer researchers in Switzerland and abroad.

Additionally, this symposium will enable students and postdocs from the different labs and clinics to interact with world-recognized leaders related to basic and clinical prostate cancer research from abroad.
