Abstract
The Systems Modeling Language (SysML) is a general-purpose graphical modeling language for specifying, analyzing, designing, and verifying complex systems that may include hardware, software, information, personnel, procedures, and facilities. It is a response to the UML for Systems Engineering RFP developed by OMG, INCOSE, and the ISO AP233 workgroup. In this presentation I will provide an overview of SysML in particular by showing the diagrams that describe the four pillars of SysML: Requirements, Behavior, Structure, and Parametrics. The diagrams will be shown by means of a simple case study in the field of Wireless Sensor Network.
