Bachelor of Science in Informatics (BINF)

Description

The Bachelor in Informatics consists of an innovative, project-based, team-oriented curriculum of six semesters. In the first four semesters, theoretical courses and exercises converge towards a (group) project in the ateliers. In the fifth semester, students have the opportunity to get a taste of real-life work/research experience thanks to the mandatory internship in a company or within one of the faculty's research groups (Field project). In the sixth semester, they work on an individual final project in which they use all their acquired knowledge to solve an interesting problem.
The programme aims not only to train students from a strictly academic point of view, but also to equip them with the soft skills necessary for a successful career.
