Stefano Giacomelli comes from Italy, where he graduated with a law degree. He is now doctoral student at the Faculty of Communication Sciences.
Stefano current research interests are environmental policy and governance, human dimension of wildlife and rural studies. In his research, he mainly uses qualitative methodologies, and especially case studies and comparatives approaches.
During his Ph.D., Stefano has been teaching assistant to marketing courses and qualitative methodologies courses. He has also had opportunities to develop administrative skills. He is Assistant to the Ph.D. Program Coordinator, and to the Vice Dean of the Study.
From 2014, he has collaborated on the management of the annual Summer School on methodologies (FORS).
For the year 2015-2016, he was elected Ph.D. representative.
