Stefano Giacomelli comes from Italy, where he graduated with a law degree. He obtained a Ph.D. at the Faculty of Communication Sciences.
Stefano current research interests are environmental humanities, environmental policy and governance, rural studies . In his research, he mainly uses qualitative methodologies, especially case-study, ethnography and comparatives approaches.
From an administrative perspective, Stefano is assistant to the Dean of the Faculty, to the Ph.D. Program Coordinator, and to the Vice Dean of the Study.
For the year 2015-2016, he was elected Ph.D. representative.
