Biography

I am originally from Belarus, live and work between Switzerland and Poland. I am fluent in five languages: Belarusian, Russian, English, Italian & French, and I am studying German.

I received PhD in 2013 with a thesis on education technology (use of ICTs in Human Resource Management and learning analytics).

I work as Assistant Professor in Digital Transformation at Gdańsk University of Technology (Gdansk, Poland), its Department of Informatics in Management (Faculty of Management and Economics). I teach in Gdansk BA, MA, and executive courses on "Global Digital Transformation", "Disruptive Technologies" and "Digital Business".

At USI – Università della Svizzera italiana (Lugano, Switzerland), I am involved in the following activities:
- senior lecturer of Digital Fashion Communication, Digital Transformation in tourism and Social Media Management courses
- academic coordinator of MSc in Digital Fashion Communication (www.usi.ch/mdfc), Double degree between USI and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, France
- team leader in Digital Fashion Communication Research (www.digitalfashion.ch) at the Institute of Digital Technologies for Communication (USI).

I am particularly interested in the digital transformation of these sectors: tourism & hospitality, fashion & luxury, public sector. 

Beyond work life, I enjoy motherhood, I am into travel (discovered 68 countries ??), mountain adventures, photography & fine food.

Research

I have been a visiting researcher at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong), Business School of the University of Strathclyde (UK), Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand), and the Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance of the United Nations University (Portugal) thanks to the excellence scholarships of the Swiss National Science Foundation.

My research interests are in the intersection of digital transformation of communication & marketing, digital communication strategies, education technology (use of ICTs in HRM and learning analytics).
