Biography
Graduated from University College Dublin, with Shelley McNamara founder member of Grafton Architects established in 1977. Studio lecturer at the school of architecture UCD and visiting critic to schools of architecture abroad. Exhibited work includes the Venice Biennale 2002, Mies van der Rohe Award Exhibition 2003. Completed work includes university buildings, schools, housing, public buildings together with urban design projects. Winner of international competition for Luigi Bocconi University in Milan, completed 2008. Grafton Architects were awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale 2012.
