Biografia
Annalisa Carlevaro is Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Italian Studies (ISI). Her research is focused on language acquisition, language teaching and applied linguistics. She is working on the project "Discourse situations and genres in second language teaching materials. The case of Italian taught to adults in Italian - speaking Switzerland". She is research associate at the University of Basel, her research is focused on text linguistics. She is working on the project "It-Ist_CH. L'italiano istituzionale svizzero: analisi, valutazioni, prospettive", funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and directed by Professor Angela Ferrari.
Previously, she obtained a Bachelor degree in Translation and Interpreting (Italian and English) in 2005 at Università degli Studi di Genova (Italy). She started a professional career and held significant managing positions in Italy and Switzerland. She obtained a Bachelor degree in Lingue e Letterature Straniere (Polish and English) at Università degli Studi di Genova in 2013 and a Master degree in Lingua, letteratura e civiltà italiana at USI in 2017. She worked as a teacher of Polish language at Corsi per Adulti / Cantone Ticino and as a teacher of Italian as a second language at Università della Svizzera italiana. She was Founder, Managing Director and Lecturer of a language school in Lugano that managed from 2014 to 2017.
