The concept of accountability is a central aspect of the management and communication functions of modern public sector institutions. It represents a cornerstone of developing efficient, effective, and democratic organizations. The need to clear accountability for decisions taken and a solid evaluation of the performance of public institutions is abundantly evident in the current pandemic. In this course, students will be exposed to the contemporary concepts, tools (social reporting and sustainability reporting), and international experience of accountability, why it is essential for modern public administrations, and how policymakers
