The course examines the development and analysis of selected discretization methods for the solution of partial differential equations. Topics may vary from year to year.
The course may be taken as a continuation of the Numerical Algorithms course or as an independent, stand‑alone offering.
Obiettivi
At the end of the course students: - will be familiar with theory and implementation of several types of discretization methods, - be able plan and write computer code.
