Biografia
Viviana Amati is a postdoctoral fellow in the Social Network Analysis Research Center (SoNAR-C), part of the InterDisciplinary Institute of Data Science - IDIDS at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI-University of Lugano). She is also a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz, Germany. Her main interests include developing methods for estimating the parameters of stochastic models for the analysis of networks, the application of these models to analyze relational data, and the use of elements of game theory to provide a micro-foundation for statistical network models and point out actor's agency in network formation.
Viviana earned her PhD in Statistics from the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy.
