Scholar at Risk - Call for Afghanistan. Project Representative Bureaucracy

This project is financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation as part of the Scholars at Risk appeal for Afghanistan. Additional resources were provided by Università della Svizzera italiana. This has allowed Prof. Villeneuve to host Mr. Parwiz Mosamim, Afghan national journalist, to develop and carry-out a doctoral project in Switzerland. 

The project focuses on the role and reality of women in Afghan public administration. In addition to the regular contributions and activities expected from doctoral students (publications, teaching, etc), numerous events and activities related to the theme have been organised in Lugano and in other locations internationally. In parallel, Mr. Mosamim has been invited to present his research and discuss the dramatic situation of Aghan in numerous venues internationally.
