Biography

Marco Di Nallo (1983), architect and architectural historian.

He studied at the Politecnico di Milano and at the Technische Universität Wien, in 2013 he gained a Ph.D in History of architecture and urban planning at the Politecnico di Torino, and at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio (Università della Svizzera Italiana).

In 2014 he has been "Guest lecturer" at the Antalya International University (Turkey). Since 2011 he is teaching assistant at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio in the field of historic preservation. Courses: Roberta Grignolo, "20th century Heritage"; Sergio Bettini, "Methods and techniques of architectural restoration"; Nott Caviezel, "Architectural heritage preservation: history and theory".

His research interests range from 16th century architecture in Italy to Modern architecture in Switzerland, with particular attention to aspects of conservation and preservation.

He runs his own architectural firm in Milan, Plus Ultra studio.
