Biography
She graduated in Architecture at the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich in 1992. She makes study trips to Japan and collaborates with architects Miroslav Sik and Fabrizio Gellera. From 1995 to 2010 she is the owner of the Buzzi e Buzzi studio in Locarno where she realizes many residential buildings and participates in various competitions. In 2010 the ETH dedicates a retrospective to the work of the firm in Zurich. The exhibition continues in Eindhoven (2011) and Paris (2012). From 2002 to 2019 she was a member of various professional and association committees i Switzerland (Fas/Sia) as well as the Landscape Commission of Canton Ticino (2007-2019).
She is currently a scientific collaborator at the Area of Construction and Technology directed by Prof. Franz Graf where, in addition to teaching and research in technical-constructive subjects, she is responsible for the series "Buildings of the 20th Century in Canton Ticino. Architecture, construction, protection" published by Mendrisio Academy Press since 2013.
