Description
Since 2014 the Faculty of Informatics collaborated in this context with 59 companies offering field projects to 256 students. This year we have 18 companies on board. The Field Project Atelier consists of an experience in collaboration with a company and can be done individually or as a group, depending on the given context.
Objectives
The goal of the Field Project Atelier is for the students to obtain hands-on experience with real world problems.

The Field Project Atelier will take place from 18 September to 11 December 2026, at the company during Thursdays and Fridays the whole day.
Important dates to be scheduled are as follows:
- 17 September: Kick-off meeting at USI
- 18 September: Beginning of the field project at the company
- 21 October: Update meeting students-professor at USI
- 25 November: Update meeting students-professor at USI
- 11 December: Closing session at USI
