Biography

I am an applied microeconomist, finalizing my PhD thesis at the University of Lugano. Before joining Lugano in October 2019, I was a predoctoral researcher in the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich. My research primarily uses causal econometric methods to tackle important health and development economics questions, including a study on the impact of the most extensive cash transfer program in the developing world. In addition to my research, I have over a decade of teaching experience, consistently with excellent evaluation. I will have been on the job market from fall 2024 through 2025.
