Federico Lucchesi is a Ph.D. Student and Assistant at the Institute of Digital Technologies for Communication (ITDxC). He is a research associate in the project "Visualized relationships - functions and problems. A repertoire-oriented investigation of visual and image-related communication among couples and friends in Switzerland", funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF). He also works as Teaching Assistant in the course ICT, Media & Società (Bachelor in Communication)
He holds a BA in Communication Sciences and a MA in Advertising and Communication for the Public and Private Sectors, both achieved at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan with a grade of 110 cum laude/110. From 2012 until 2018 he also worked for several international companies as environmental journalist, digital communication specialist, copywriter and qualitative market researcher.
His research interests include online and digital communication, social network sites and public sharing, micro-sociology of interpersonal communication, non-verbal communication, creative and visual methods in qualitative research and psychology of communication.
From September 2019 (- in course), he is the PhDs Representative in the Communication Science Faculty Council.
From January 2020 (- in course), he is a board member of The Complaints Commission.
