Biography

Graduated in Architecture at the Accademia di architettura, Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), where she later gained a Ph.D (Dr. phil.), devoting herself to the architectures of trauma and places of memory. She has also collaborated with several architectural firms in Basle, Lugano, Milan and Zug. She currently works as a post-doc assistant and lecturer at the Institute for the History and Theory of Art and Architecture (ISA).  
From 2020 to 2022, she was part of the curatorial team led by Dr. André Bideau in the realization of the exhibition Territory as Palimpsest: The legacy of André Corboz (Teatro dell'Architettura, Mendrisio, fall/winter 2022). 

Her field of research is mainly aimed at studying the aesthetic and political meaning of the sites of memory related to traumatic historical events of the 20thcentury in Europe and the United States. She is particularly interested in unbuilt or incomplete projects for memorials, monuments and museums.
