Biography

Anne-Linda Camerini, Ph.D., is Lecturer and Researcher at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at USI Università della Svizzera italiana. She is also affiliated with the Institute of Public Health.

Before her activities at USI, Anne-Linda Camerini studied Communication and Media Sciences at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena (Germany) and the Università degli Studi di Urbino (Italy). She gained experience in applied media research and consultancy in the United Kingdom.

Between 2009 and 2013, she has conducted her PhD studies in the field of Health Communication at USI, followed by a Postdoctoral period at the same university.

Anne-Linda Camerini's research focuses on well-being in children and youth, with a specific focus on the role of digital media. She has published in highly recognized international journals. She is an Associate Editor of the European Journal of Health Communication, Faculty Member of the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+), and Advisory Board Member of Citizen Science Schweiz.

Anne-Linda Camerini teaches in English, German, and Italian at the Bachelor, Master, and Executive Master level at the Università della Svizzera italiana, University of Zurich, and the University of Applied Sciences of Italian-speaking Switzerland and Zurich.
